Title: Discovery Platforms for Alzheimer Disease |
| |
| |
Dates: 21&22 October 2013 |
| |
| |
Objective: |
| |
The main goal of the II Symposium Neuron will be the discussion of the recent advances in the technologies to discover and develop new drugs to treat or prevent the Alzheimer’s disease (AD). The recent clinical failures in the drugs for AD suggest the need to redesign the classical discovery strategies and open the field to design new screening tools and in vivo models to improve the success in the identification of new chemical entities to treat neurodegeneration. |
